Personal Care Services (PCS) provide essential assistance to individuals needing help with activities of daily living (ADLs). Our PCS program supports clients in private living arrangements, licensed adult care homes, combination homes, and group homes. We help with eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility. Eligibility is determined through an independent assessment by NC Medicaid or its designee, ensuring that clients receive care based on their specific needs and medical conditions.
Private Pay Services
Our affordable and highly recommended Private Pay Services offer comprehensive support to help you manage your health and personal care needs effectively. We provide assistance with medication management—such as timely reminders, organizing pill boxes, and ensuring proper medication intake—as well as help with daily personal care tasks like bathing, grooming, and other essential activities. Additionally, we assist with errands, accompany you to doctor appointments, and are even available to support you during family reunions and public outings. Our dedicated team is here to ensure you stay healthy, comfortable, and well-cared for, no matter the occasion.
CAP/C & CAP/DA
Our CAP/C & CAP/DA programs offer a personalized alternative to traditional personal care services for both children and adults. Through these programs, clients are paired with a dedicated caseworker who ensures they receive the necessary care, resources, and support tailored to their specific needs. These services, available under NC Medicaid, provide families with peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are receiving compassionate and comprehensive care.
Veteran Services
Our Veteran Services are designed to meet the unique needs of our nation's heroes. We provide specialized care and support to veterans, ensuring they receive the respect and assistance they deserve. Our services include help with daily activities, medical care, and emotional support, tailored to the specific needs of each veteran.
Companionship Care
Our Companionship Care services provide the emotional and social support that family members may not always be able to offer. Homemaker Services
Our Homemaker Services are designed to support anyone in need, with a special focus on women who have just had a child or are on maternity leave. We offer assistance with meal preparation, childcare, errands, housekeeping, and cleaning, ensuring that families have the support they need during challenging times. Additionally, we provide help with financial management, appointment scheduling, and accompanying clients to doctor appointments. Whether you're navigating pregnancy, maternity leave, or workman’s compensation situations, we're here to help you manage tasks that may be difficult to handle on your own.
Non-Medical Emergency Transportation (NEMT)
Key Features of NEMT Services in North Carolina:
• Eligibility for Medicaid Recipients: Medicaid beneficiaries in North Carolina may qualify for NEMT at no cost if they meet the program's criteria. Transportation requests must be pre-approved and scheduled through the Medicaid program.
• Privately Paid Services: Individuals who do not qualify for Medicaid or prefer private-pay options can still access NEMT services for a fee. Private payment ensures flexibility and accessibility for all clients, enabling them to schedule rides according to their personal needs.
• Safety and Compliance: NEMT providers in North Carolina comply with rigorous safety standards, including vehicle inspections, driver background checks, and required training in first aid and patient care.
